We have lost so many friends in the music family. I first met Musicman88, Larry and Rickycowboy on Mplayer... we later came over to Paltalk. Doc Ozark used to run a room, and I think that Freedom Rider was an admin in that room, which was kind of funny to me, you had to kind of audition to sing in the room. lol
Ricky also was in that room, and he , I and about 30 of us went to Nashville to sing in a showcase there. I met Ricky and Janet for the first time there, after "knowing" them for yrs online. Larry was the first "live" musician I ever heard on the internet. He was an amazing singer and musician. I had the priviledge of singing with him at a few jams.. he loved to harmonize too.
Ricky used to sit in his "room" called Rickycowyboy working on a song... I would go in and sit and listen to him while he was working on a new song. I remember only one I didnt like ha... I called it his jungle song because he was hitting his guitar like a drum in the song... He had alot of female fans, as did Larry. Ricky had it in his profile that if you asked him nice, he would write you a song, so I asked him lol. The first song he wrote for me was actually about me singing, which I will always treasure.
But he wrote "pretty" songs for the other women lol.. so I told him I wanted a pretty one too.. cause how many people are going to want to hear a song about me singing?? lol So he wrote me I Got the Key.. later I asked him if he could write a song about meeting an old love again... how it would feel? So he wrote a song I called the Dance Floor song .. I think it might be my favorite one he wrote. He later met Janet and they fell in love.. and he wrote more pretty songs lol. Like Janet said , his one dream was to hear one of his songs on the radio. I still think alot of them that he wrote could be a hit.
Angelbaby was another really special lady who went to jams and loved music. At one time she had this really neat webpage of alot of the musicians on Paltalk. I had it in my favorites, but think I lost it. It might still exist, if someone might know about it? If there was a way she could get to a jam she was there.
Twisted mom was from Mplayer and later also came to Paltalk. I had met her at my first Jam I went to in Ga. where I first met Larry in person too... and Thannatos. Small world. Twistedmom was an author too. It seems like just this past yr she sent me a message about her book. She also said something about possibly being on Oprah.
Thannatos, I met in Ga at Hillbilly Johns Jam..Blairsville Ga. in 1999. I mostly remember him singing the song "Amazed". we had a video of some of the jam, and at the end of the song he licked his finger and put it inthe air like he was hot... was really kind of funny. I later met him at the Tex jam, where he came in the house there looking for something to eat... to make a long story short, I ended up making him a sandwich because he acted so helpless.. was funny. I asked him if he wanted me to eat it for him too haha. Later at the jam, I had a run in with fireants.. and ran to the kitchen, he was still there..had to push him out of the way to find something for the bites ha. That actually was one of the last times I seen him.
Dusty too I got to meet at some of the jams. I remember in ARk he blew us away when he sang his Rock and Roll. We never knew he sang like that. Great bass player too.
I will write more later about some of the others I knew. We miss them all, and this website is a great way to pay a small tribute to them.

He lived in Florida and was best friends with Hogrider. He played on paltalk often in the early days. He was a good musician and a great friend to all of us paltalk alumni.
