David "Randy" Walters
(September 23, 1952 - February 27, 2010)


David “Randy” Walters, age 57, of Michigan City, died Saturday, February 27 at St. Anthony Memorial Health Care.
Randy was born September 23, 1952 in Michigan City to Harold and Berneda (Hilderbrand) Walters, both of whom preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughters Angie (Bill) Woods, Burns Harbor, IN, Erica (Tom) Lewalski, Amanda (Doug Lewalski) Kienitz, all of Michigan City, grandchildren Justin Morlan, Katelyn Woods, Emily Morlan, Collin and Ally Kienitz, Christopher Woods, Dougie and Devon Lewalski, ex-wife Sue Walters, special friend Tammy Camp and best buddy Terry Blance, and brothers and sisters Dennis (Lisa) Walters, New Buffalo, Rick (Charlene) Walters of Michigan City, Ronnie (Paula) Walters, South Bend, Donnie Walters of Michigan City, and Barb Smith of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Weaver.
Randy was the assistant superintendent with the Michigan City Refuse Dept. He was a great musician who’s biggest love was his family, music and laughter. He loved everyone and showed that in his music. Randy’s humor was contagious, you could not be around him and not laugh. His huge personality was amazing. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
